Right then. Current status of the revamp happening on the site: Cpanel login has been restated for me, I seem to have issues with keeping track of the tricky passwords for them. Upload of all files in use for the site and it's sub-pages, is about to commence. I suppose I'll have to re-update this page when I have everything loaded.

Update on the PHP "wineries" idea: I haven't been able to locate the wineries database or information. I had some classmates who were still hosting their projects, dealing with the same database, etc. I might hobnail together a project from a combination of their work, while asking the professor for more information into the project. The project was active about 3-4 years ago, so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have information for it anymore. If he doesn't, I'll just make some up. Shouldn't be that hard.

If memory serves, classes are slated to resume for the Fall semester in approximately a month. Lucky for me, my fall courses are completely online. Which just means, talking to who-ever I end up working for, taking an hour or so off work twice a week per class, and finding a wifi spot to do the class meeting. Spring classes, I have a lecture and a lab, for Databases.

Revamping of the site is still underway. I'm practicing a couple of techniques that I haven't been too familiar with, just as a brush up. Also have been bothering my usual "guru" for a backup of "my old site". He hosted a decent sized chunk of space on his domain for me to fool around with. Once I had this one up, the prior one was no longer needed, so I don't remember the password or login for the FTP. Needless to say, I'm hoping that he can just drop the files onto a page for me to play around with. I had some fun stuff that I was working with. A searchable database consisting of wineries, as well as other fun things I had worked on in my first "advanced web" class.

So right now, I'm currently waiting for classes to start up in the fall, with one left-over in the spring. I'm pretty syched up for my last year of college. I haven't been able to decide if I am going to walk across the stage, or just have them mail me the diploma and save the stress from it all. Vermont Tech doesn't even have the graduation at the college itself, they host it elsewhere. I'm trying to rationalize driving a big distance to just walk across a stage for a graduation. And somehow it's not coming to me. Anyways, in the fall I'm taking yet another web course, as well as a routing course for my own knowledge. In the spring, it's a database course.

Forgive me for being so tardy in the latest posting. I've had many other things to worry about these past three or so years. College picked up more then it had before, as well as the constant work just to pay for tuition. I won't bother mentioning most of that, however. It's all in the past, why bother to dredge it back up? Needless to say, the revamp of the website for "portfolio" purposes, has commenced. I'm not even sure what it is exactly that I'm creating here. Suffice to say, it's going to be tricky to see what I'm capable of, and what tortures I'm going to be subjecting myself to.

Thanks goto: David Gutierrez. For letting me leech off a little bit of his web space that one time, for setting me up with my own permanant location, and for helping me to de-bug mostly everything programming wise. Thank you! ♥
